Let’s spice things up a little

I have mentioned before that in every article I will be sharing something about me and that in this way you will discover who I am and what I like. And this article is no different.

Today, if you keep on reading this article, you will discover that I have a real passion for cooking. I really love everything that stands for, is related to and results from the act of cooking.

So today I am going to show all of you, passionate cooks, a way to keep your spice collection organized, or, why not, get a new one for yourself. Spices are, or should be used, in cooking every single day and, due to this, I enjoy keeping them at hand while still having them be a gorgeous accessory in the kitchen.

This first item is a great choice for storing ground and whole spices. Due to its 10 different shapes jars, you can store different spices, including whole cinnamon sticks, whole nutmeg seeds and whatever big spices you like to keep around. The jars are dishwasher safe, with stackable airtight lids and a non-slip base that will make it easy to reach any one of the jars at any time » (link)

Criss Cross 18 Piece Spice Rack Set

This spice rack I enjoy because it doesn’t really show off the collection but it makes it very accessible. The criss cross shape of the rack combined with the round jars with tagged lids make this piece unique and beautiful to have placed on the counter of your kitchen » (link)

Stainless Steel Spice Box

If you cook on a regular basis, especially trying more advanced recipes and techniques, you know by now that some spices can make their mark only with a pinch. So it’s not really required to have too much of them at one time. The next spice box follows this principle and it is a great way to store just a few special ground spices that you like having on hand. A round stainless steel box with clear lid and 7 individual compartments for each spice, this one covered no more than 20 cm of space and fits perfectly in any kitchen » (link)

I choose this next spice rack due to the unusual shape of the jars and their wonderful presentation. These 16 glass jars have a shape similar to light bulbs, which I find charming and their stand is round, with easy reach and covers only a small space of your counter. If interested, here’s the list of spices that come with this rack and maybe this will make up your mind to decide if this is or not the spice rack for you: Thyme, Basil, Rosemary, Chive, Onion Salt, Garlic Salt, Ground Cinnamon, Marjoram, Italian Seasoning, Oregano, Parsley, Turmeric, Onion Slice, Cilantro, Bay Leaves and Red Chili Bits » (link)

Sugar Maple Carousel Spice Rack

This last spice rack I simply adore. Firstly, because I like wood furniture in general and this rack is simple, wooden and wooden colored. Secondly, because the spice jars are simple, made out of glass and with white lids and the name of the spice on them. This makes for an easy reach even when you don’t see the spice.
