Hello my dears! I have to admit that I have been caught up with other issues in my life and I have kind of ignored the blog for a couple of weeks. But now I am back, fresh and ready to entertain you with more design ideas and products and to inspire you to make your home more beautiful with every post.

And I decided to introduce you today to a secret (not anymore, but you get what I mean) ingredient that can make your home stand out and shine bright. So, in today’s article I bring you the beauty and uniqueness of hand made ceramics. I’m sure that many of you may have discovered this ingredient by now and maybe some of you even know the website that I want to introduce you to. But for those of you who haven’t discovered them, I welcome you to read and enjoy the products that I have discovered and that I will share with you in the next few lines.

The website and shop goes by the name of Koromiko and features the unique works of very talented artists. You can search for products by categories or by individual designers. This makes for a wonderful shopping experience, since you can easily purchase products with similar patterns or designs since they are made by the same person. The shop also features different products such as accessories, jewelry, bags or scarves which, of course, are not made out of ceramic but they are beautifully designed and worth your time if you wish to visit the website. But for this article I will stick with reviewing the gorgeous ceramic objects that I have found and a few of which I have presented in this article’s images.

I have to mention that what I enjoy most about these handmade objects are the imperfections that appear during the manufacturing process and that stay with them forever. And speaking as a person with love (and maybe a little obsession) or symmetry, this is big for me to admit. But these little imperfections and the fact that no two products made by the same hands end up looking exactly the same is what makes these products unique and perfect. Just think about how nice it would be to own something unique on the entire planet, in a world where most of our products are made in thousands of copies.

I’m sure that there are some of you that will consider the ceramics I presented in the pictures so far to be bland, pale and too monochromatic for their tastes. Well, for those of you who think that, I beg you to keep up with me for just a few more lines because you won’t regret it. I found a gorgeous collection of cups and bowls made out of colored ceramics. Yes, you read that right and if you don’t believe me just take a look at the pictures below. There is a gorgeous collection of these cups and bowls and I have selected only a few of them to show you, which trust me was very hard to do, but I recommend you going and checking all of them out. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
