Even though I don’t have children of my own yet, I know how important education can be. And, as a side note, I would like to thank my parents this way for giving me what I consider to be a great one. But I also understand that a good education has to start from a young age. Because that’s when children can soak up things like a sponge. Thus, if they go on a wrong track early, it may be hard to repair later on. So why not start from early on and try to get them on what we consider to be the good direction for them. And this can be easily instated right from their infancy and with their toys.

It’s very true that a child requires toys when he is of young age (some of us even older, but the toys are different) in order to play with. But no one says that these toys have to be restrictive to an entertainment use. If you select the proper toys for them when they are young, your children can end up with a wonderful education later on. Therefore, I decided to choose in this article toys that are more than just something to play with. All of these can be a part of your child’s education if they are used in a proper way. So browse around and make what you consider to be the right choice for your child and what will make him or her happy for Christmas. The learning part can remain out little secret for now.

Pick a toy, get a free lesson with it

If you want your child to start thinking a little more logically, then think about getting him or her one of the following. Any toy that involves numbers can develop their logical thinking and teach them to reason properly. Plus, who hasn’t had fun with an abacus when they were little? Especially with one this colorful:

If your child has always wanted to get involved in the kitchen with you, why not get him a kitchen of his own? Maybe teach him the kitchen etiquette or even let him help you with a cookie dough once in a while. Who knows? Maybe you will prepare him or her for their next career as a chef.

And if you consider they’re too little to handle the real thing. How about getting them a basket of plush fruits or vegetables? Teach them the names, color and shapes and maybe even the fact that a proper diet has to contain plenty fruits and vegetables.

I bet you can spot if your child has some artistic talent from an early age. If so, why not encourage them to pursue this further? Get them a proper standing easel and they may just enjoy themselves enough and pursue a creative outlet.

Don’t worry! If you want your child to end up being a little more handy around the house, we have a solution. Get your kid this handy toolbox and they might just save you a few bucks later on when they grow up and want to handle that thing you need repaired themselves.
