Summer, sun, sand and sky…Summer dresses are some of the most simple yet versatile articles of clothing when it comes to their design. They can be short or long, with sleeves or strapless, in neutral or bright colors, with patterns or just in a simple color. Combine any two or more of these and you end up with dozens of different combinations among which you will find your perfect summer dress.

But I have to say that I haven’t prepared for all those different combinations. I have only chosen a sample of my preferences and style when it comes to summer dresses which I hope you will enjoy. If you enjoy this article and these products, please let me know and I will return with many more articles of this kind and show you what I mean when I say that there are dozens of designs and combinations to explore.

So let’s start with something rather simple. We have a sleeveless, grey and white and patterned dress designed by Indian artisan Shashi Sehgal. Although it may look plain at first sight, this dress compensates with the bold patterns that make you stand out just the right amount. Made out of 100% cotton, this dress is the perfect casual summer dress that will get you through those hot days when you have no choice and you have to get out of the house.

Next up we have a second-hand dress that is being resold on the Rebelle website. This dress has been worn only during fitting, so it can easily be considered like new. I chose this dress, even though it is not new, because I like the shape and design, not to mention the color. The material used for this dress is silk, which I consider to be the perfect material for a lovely summer evening, especially if you have a special occasion to be at.

Of course, I had to add a simple and white midi dress into this list. During the summer, if you really have to go out during the day, when the sun is still shining bright (and I ask you to please go out only if you need to) then, the recommended color to wear is white or, at least, light colors. So, in order to do my part and be a little more health conscious, I wanted to add this simple, white, sleeveless, A-Line dress to my list. Besides the health reasons for adding this to the list, I also consider that this color goes on anyone and it can really make you stand out in a crowd for all the right reasons.

The next choice is a favorite of mine and I hope it will be one of yours too. For all the girls out there fans of fantasy worlds, games and characters, this dress was custom made. Made out of two pieces and using both cotton and linen for both, this dress can be considered unique and a special piece of your wardrobe. It may not be the most suitable for short girls, like me, but if you really like it, give it a try and let me know what you think. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

The last piece of clothing that I have for you today is in my top 3. The first and main reason for which I have chosen this dress is its Indian embroidered pattern. Add this to the 100% cotton material, the knee length and the beautiful shift shape and you have a winner. This dress has charmed me and I am sure that it will have the same effect on you.
